The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board hit former President Trump over his meddling in congressional talks on border security and his recent threat to donors to GOP presidential primary Nikki Haley’s campaign in a pair of Thursday editorials.Earlier this week, Trump made a threat to Haley’s donors in a post on Truth Social, saying anyone who contributes to the former United Nations ambassador would be “permanently barred from the MAGA camp.” In response, the WSJ editorial board said if Trump and his allies “spend the coming months trying to purify the GOP of everyone who won’t kiss his ring, it will be a high act of self-sabotage” in a Thursday editorial.“It will also be a good reason to vote for someone else,” the WSJ editorial board wrote. The editorial on the border deal goes after the former president for his antagonism toward a possible deal on Ukraine aid and border security reform in Congress.

That's the point, it didn't say a damn thing about the bill or what's in it.....the numbers I posted were leaked.

Without even knowing anything about the bill, you were willing to accept whatever it was.....that's just asinine.

he is already controlling congress, now that roe v wade is off the table he wants something to campaign on and he gets his henchmen to do his bidding. he is gearing up to be the first elected dictator in american history and he shuts down anyone who dares to cross him and his voter base is what gives him his power.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Thursday took aim at former President Trump for pushing Republican lawmakers to oppose a border deal so that he could use the issue to campaign against President Biden in the 2024 presidential election.Romney told CNN’s Manu Raju he thought it was “really appalling” that Trump would try to prevent progress on addressing the surge in migration at the southern border.“I think the border is a very important issue for Donald Trump,” Romney said. “And the fact that he would communicate to Republican senators and congresspeople that he doesn’t want us to solve the border problem because he wants to blame Biden for it is really appalling.”“But the reality is that we have a crisis at the border, the American people are suffering as a result of what’s happening at the border, and someone running for president ought to try to get the problem solved as opposed to saying, ‘Hey, save that problem. Don’t solve it. Let me take credit for solving it later,’” Romney continued.

CBS anchor admits he could not find a single person outside of New Hampshire grocery store who feels ‘good about the economy’

“CBS Mornings” co-host Tony Dokoupil reported how he and his team couldn’t find anybody outside a New Hampshire grocery that was “feeling good about the economy.”

While previewing an upcoming CBS News segment set to air on Sunday, Dokoupil mentioned how people complained about higher food prices, despite macro signs that the economy is improving.

The co-host claimed that President Biden continues to try and sell his economic achievements — aka “Bidenomics” — ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

While speaking to local New Hampshire CBS anchors, Dokoupil reported, “People are really bummed out about the economy here in New Hampshire. Even if the overall big picture numbers are going in the right direction, and even if people’s own personal experiences in general are going okay, there’s a lot of gloom.”Noting why, he said, “Food prices, for example, are generally going up. And we talked to a bunch of people outside of a grocery store in Derry, New Hampshire — we couldn’t find anybody feeling good about the economy.”

The anchor expressed that the negative view is “just human nature,” adding, “Psychologically, you go into a store, if you’re paying more for items that you get every week, that really sticks with you, it really annoys you, it gets you down. People were upset about it.”
He did note that locals are surviving, that they are “making it” despite the higher prices, although they are annoyed.

There's no way to put a positive spin on that  report..
At a busy store it wouldn't take too long to have a quick word with enough people to see a definite trend.
Those who are on fixed incomes find themselves hit the hardest by Biden's "Wealth Redistribution Program".. younger people raised in our current public school system would tend to be oblivious to this..
