Jan 3 (Reuters) - U.S. bankruptcy filings surged by 18% in 2023 on the back of higher interest rates, tougher lending standards and the continued runoff of pandemic-era backstops, data published Wednesday showed, although insolvency case volumes remain well below the level seen before the outbreak of COVID-19.
Total bankruptcy filings - encompassing commercial and personal insolvencies - rose to 445,186 last year from 378,390 in 2022, according to data from bankruptcy data provider Epiq AACER.

Are you seriously going to try to compare and blame Trump for inflation?!?!?
Could even an ignorant liberal like you be so dumb?!??
Trump handed Biden a 1.4% inflation rate in January of 2021 when Biden was inaugurated.
By January of the following year, Biden's idiotic economic policies caused it to jump to 7.48%, and by June of that year it skyrocketed to 9.06%
And even now after 4 years in office, Biden's inflation rate is still almost 2 1/2 times the rate he inherited from Trump.

So go peddle your lies and **** elsewhere, asshole!
It doesn't fly here!
