Oh, sorry. I thought you meant one that I hate the most. I agree with their policy about student loan forgiveness, with parameters only though. Not all loans, just ones whose degrees are useful such as engineering, medicine, lawyers, and STEM related. I don't want forgiveness for most lib arts degrees.

Well there are two more options. You could have the multiparty systems in Europe which are usually a cluster@V$dx of voices and issues. 1) Yes. I would prefer to pay for a kid's education since they want to help become productive members of society, as opposed to forking over billions on welfare benefits.
2) This is an odd argument. I mean there are things that our past forefathers had to deal with that we don't. Every generation should want things better for their kids, so they won't have to deal with what they dealt with. I can't imagine using your argument on rights. Women couldn't vote until 1919. So because they never voted, that supposed to mean that no women in the future should be able to vote either? It makes no sense.

I meant it as both hyperbole and a broader swatch of autocracies. There is really no contest to Putin according to most US intelligence. You might disagree but that tends to be the convetional wisdom. And I said among others like Sisi in Egypt who got 89.6% of the vote and many other countries that have leaders with overwhelming support and no real opposition.

That opposing party's policy, the one that benefits only some people, so you hate it and them:
You may be a recipient of some of the benefits being dispersed!
That tax break or law revision or whatever is meant to benefit people (or punish bad people).
You may be on the good end of some of that **** you hate...
