The thing about aliens is that they are.. alien.. you can't apply human reasoning/emotions to them.. maybe there's no one there but maybe they simply don't care about answering us or maybe they are preparing an invasion fleet and don't want to let us know they're out there..

You didn't read the porthole idea of electromagnet passages that instantly move between parallel universes and alternate realities is as possible as a rotating planet creates tomorrows now.

That is why my solution is to capture, kill and eat them.  Then, send their bones back from where they came.  If man can make Slim Jims edible, then we can figure out ways to make Aliens edible.

I'm not play mind over matter semantics, you can complain about reasonable doubt but in this case it's justified, you can recognize now is eternity but only as far as it applies to humans, you can't know if it works the same for aliens.. of course I can't be sure either, that's why the doubt is reasonable..

It seems thin to you but as I said, you can't apply your (human) way of thinking to aliens, who knows what motivates them..

And why does it have to be at light speed, if they are more advanced than us maybe they have warp drives or wormholes.. and maybe they are already here, waiting for the right moment..

what justifies denying genetics eternally separates ancestral reproductions native to this universal position as uniquely evolving individually forward now. Notice I include the whole food chain, not say humans are exceptions or exempt.
