The music performers greatly reduce costs when they cut out instruments, sound engineers, etc.  They try to bill these shows as some mellow, chillin' crap.  They use tard marketing lines like An evening with guitarist Steve.  All Steve does is sit on a stool and strum.

I hate all concerts.  Complete and total waste of time, money and hearing. Sitting or standing in a huge crowd listening to "music" is freaking boring. I'd rather be farming, ****, or fighting.  Not necessarily in that order.

me. Went to an Alice Cooper concert, music was fine, people sitting in from of me weren't. Every time I went to live concerts, music was fine, the audience was filled with obnoxious people ruining the event.

Music engineered in a studio is superior to live music. That said, there are a handful of bands I saw in nightclubs that I actually enjoyed. However, I can't stand large concerts.
