Any increase in food prices may be especially painful to American consumers, given that supermarket prices are now 25% higher than in January 2020, while inflation has increased 19% over that same time. That means even though grocery costs are now rising at a slower pace than in the depth of the pandemic's inflationary spike, the same shopping basket still costs more than a month or a year ago, a fact that has soured many consumers on the economy.

I just showed him a stat from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics and he just blew right by it like it was nothing.

He always wants "proof", and when you provide it, he ignores it because he doesn't like what it says.

It's his M.O., and exactly why nobody here takes him seriously about anything.

Below is my first post in this thread.  Your assertion is that the prices you listed are the same prices you paid in 2019.  Since you only provided a link to a current sales flyer, and not proof that the prices haven't changed in over four years, we are left to either attempt the research on our own or assume you're simply making **** up.
