I try to repurpose waste as often as possible. It's an OCD thing with me.

Old aluminum foil is fantastic for cleaning the BBQ grill and old foil containers work great for a liquid bowl for the smoker... and the Amish at the market get all our old egg cartons, etc etc.

I've been a "recycler" from way back in the 90's.

I think disposable plastics should simply be outlawed.  Go back to using brown paper bags for groceries, cardboard, aluminum and glass containers.

Unfortunately for me, my own ancestry is involved eyeballs deep previous generations, my siblings and cousins, wife and children. I have to unconditionally surrender what I am for what everyone else says I have to do to save humanity tomorrow and the irony is life only evolves in the moment here.

Everyone believes they are smarter than my brain navigating adapting as displaced. Their intellectual pride rule of law defends them and punishes me economically gives them their platitude of superiority of management time better than I have since birth being part of the apathetic silent majority.

Like the Admiral of Japan said on Dec 7, 1941, "The world awakened the sleeping giant.".

I can explain the specific details when my brain finally took back my time adapting as displaced uniquely here. Dec, 4, 2007 watching a show on tv about the lost book of Nostradamus discovered misfiled in april of that year.

I started performing as that one male Dec.7, 2007 using this technology to rage an intellectual civil war that wouldn't disrupt evolving in plain sight.

but there are 5 generation gaps around any ancestor alive up to the ones each ancestor adds or not since living individually eternally separated now birth to dead in series parallel proportion of numbers present in the atmosphere.

Supposedly plastics, including Polystyrene, can be recycled into fuel.  The stuff sure-as-**** burns nicely in my burn-barrel.

Plastics are absolutely among the worst things to burn.
To do it without releasing all the poisons takes something better than a burn barrel.

I worked at a scrap yard many years ago.
They burned the black rubber off of piles of utility lines. Black stinky smoke.

Then I walked past a small pile of multi-colored plastic covered burning wire.
I nearly choked almost instantly. Holy ****! I thought, plastic be bad...
Beyond messy. Dangerous.

Btw this was all illegal as hell. The place got shut down after repeated infractions.

You're not going to sick the burn-barrel cops on me, are you.  All I've got to say on this is that anything the garbage companies are going to do with plastic isn't any worse than burning it.

In fact, I called the cops myself and complained from the machine shack while I was working.
Pretended to be a neighbor and my clothes drying on the line were getting all sooty.
If you took about 100 burn barrels you might start to approach what these piles looked like.
A hopper railroad car of wire at a time.

Every time the cops showed up, we had already been instructed to douse the fire.
It always took the cops 30 minutes to show up.
I think they watched from a distance until the smoke stopped, then drove up with the complaint.
A **** racket.

Canada can act all high and mighty all they want. It's a country full of hypocrites.
Michigan law prevented the burning of insulated wires YEARS before Canada did anything about it.
We (in Michigan) would send trainloads of wire to be "recycled" in Canada because they would burn it.

And years after that Canada was shipping hundreds of trucks per day of their garbage to Michigan landfills so they could say they were being clean. They're as filthy as any other glob of humanity.

              When we were kids in school years ago, Mom used to cut up those Brown Paper Grocery Bags and made covers for our textbooks.. For many including myself, more time was spent doodling and drawing your favorite Band logos on the outside of those books than the amount of time you spent reading them... The kids these days missed out on this experience... Now they have Iphones to **** with in class...

I looked at them and thought if only one of their numbers took an aquarium dip net and scooped up some algae, they would accomplish a thousand times more impact on fixing the problem than hiring a helicopter and photographer to film their sorry ***'s standing in the sand.
