You're right, the NY debit cards is a state-run program, but there's another program that US taxpayers are stuck with and that's funded through the UN with our tax dollars to give illegals prepaid debit cards, and these YOU AND I ARE PAYING FOR.  And how long do you think it will take for Biden to pay back the massive billions his blue states are spending on illegals in NY, CA, IL, and others?

The UN’s just released the 2024 “Inter-Agency Coordination Platform for Refugees and Migrants from Venezuela” (R4V for short), a planning and budget document for handing out $1.6 billion in 17 Latin America countries.
It confirms the UN, with the helping hands of 248 named non-governmental organizations, is indeed giving debit cards to illegal migrants — funded, in large part, by US taxpayers.

Those elected officials are already getting the message from the polls nationwide, and that's the only reason Biden is now CONSIDERING closing the border.
Elected officials like Mayorkis are under impeachment for their actions, and Biden is clearly deep under water in his re-election campaign, mostly due to his determination to keep the border wide open.

Do you think your state is somehow immune from the consequences of his actions?

Here's the difference, as I see it.
I'm pissed as hell at what Biden is doing to the country but even in NJ, it hasn't affected me either.  Even though it's a sanctuary city (which I hate), the only illegals being bussed here are going to Trenton, Newark, Paterson, and Camden, all low income, high minority cities.  I just sold my house in northern NJ, getting about 4 times what I paid for it, and moved into an over 55 gated community in a beautiful country club, where my property taxes are less than half of what I previously paid.  But you and I are obviously quite different Republicans, because I care a great deal about what is happening to my country, despite the fact that it doesn't affect me in the slightest either.

Abbott and DeSantis are doing great, and I see no reason they shouldn't continually be bussed to Martha's Vineyard, as well as into every other wealthy and exclusive communities in blue states around the country.  THAT'S where public opinion will be loudest and the hypocrisy of liberal Democrats will be fully exposed as wealthy liberals receive the "benefits" of the Democrats they elected.

And TX and AZ should ramp up that program in the months leading up to the November election, and bus even more to those sanctuary cities, regardless of whether or not Biden capitulates and does close the border in a political stunt that he'd surely overturn if re-elected.
