Israel itself would not allow that to happen. They would still be too close. They woukd cause political instability in a region that is always close to war. I don't care about Israel's Arab neighbours, or Arabs in general.... But it's pretty clear none of the 5 Wars Israel has fought with these Arab countries has ended badly for them --- especially the 6 Day War of 1967 when they destroyed Egypt & Syria's Air Forces, defeated Jordanian attacks, captured Gaza, the West Bank , Sinai Peninsula, Golan Heights & East Jerusalem ----- Not bad for a week worth of work.

yeah great. But things can change over time. Iran seems allied with China and Russia now and such escalations could potentially cause world War 3

I don't see Russia or China involving themselves more than arms sales to some of the Arab countries in the region... The topic is why the Arabs aren't helping the Palestinians.... No argument that history doesn't always repeat itself --- though in the case of Israel and its Arab neighbours, it appears the past 75 years or so on the battlefield that it has...

China would get involved simply because it isn't stupid. Clearly the usa has irrational hatred for Iran, Russia, and China. If the usa starts a war against Iran and Russia, China better join to ensure the usa doesn't win.
