There were, of course sensitive documents prior to 1917 but The Espionage Act predates the classification process.  The Espionage Act does indeed have nothing to do with "CLASSIFIED" documents.  It doesn't even mention the word.  It DOES have a LOT to do with SENSITIVE documents, however.  The point being that you making a big deal about Trump declassifying documents means nothing in regard to the sensitivity of the documents and the fact that their unauthorized disclosure is a violation of the Espionage Act.

Is that concept really that difficult for you to wrap your little pea brain around, or are you just incapable of admitting you made a mistake?

The whole attempt to even bring up the Espionage Act in the case was ridiculous and will be thrown out quickly because the only defense needed to dispute it was the Trump video WHERE HE CLEARLY TOLD THE RIOTERS REPEATEDLY to "march PEACEFULLY AND PATRIOTICALLY TO THE CAPITOL".  Only liberal idiots like you want to try to make Trump responsible for a riot that is proven that he had no control over.  You idiots want to believe that when some of the rioters REFUSED TO FOLLOW HIS DIRECTION TO MARCH PEACEFULLY, that he was STILL culpable in your made-up criminality.  When you TELL people to act a certain way and they don't heed your advice, YOU HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT TRANSPIRES!
