You not liking or accepting the definition of hearsay doesn't change the definition.  Someone cannot testify in court to something someone told somebody else...period...full stop.

They can testify to what someone told them they saw...just not what someone told them someone told them.  Challenge yourself and do some critical thinking.  Would a court of law allow me to testify that "Bob told me than Cindy told him that Dan told her that Evelyn told him that Frank told her that Glenn told him that Harry said..."?
