Just call the baby "Hey Kid".....works with dogs

I always like three names, the first two being a famous person. For example, George Washington Carver. So, let’s say your last name is Lincoln, then some choices are

Do you remember many decades ago, someone wrote a book about raising a child between birth and adolescence like training a dog to follow orders and it would stick with them until dead? Not that the book mentioned it would work until extinction of the species.

Serious suggestion to the title of this thread to come up with as close to original name for your child.
take the first letter of your and your wife's maiden name given at birth. Then play word scramble with the six letters until you find the syllables you both agree upon. When each child asks why their name is what it became at birth it wasn't naming them after anything other than being your children.

Generally other users dismiss these names as an urban legend. Back in the late 90s I worked at a Children's Hospital. Oh the names you see there!! I remember Lemonjello/Oranjello brothers because when I greeted them I literally said "Hi Orange Jello and Lemon Jello" as I was young and pronounced their names as I saw them spelled. Their mother quickly corrected me and despite the spelling the name sounded more like Lemongelo and Orangelo if that makes sense.
