A very small portion (14 billion I think) went towards the border and was primarily for processing, not security.
The overall package was rejected... not just the border portion of it.

border issue is simple: first, place a penalty on those who hire an illegal. EASY. second, give a reward to whistle blowers. this simple plan is revenue neutral. all usa citizens must be involved. stop depending on the federal government to wipe your ***. take control of your nation. or lose it.
