They DO that by notifying them DAYS ahead of time, that the building is going to be destroyed. 
Israel doesn't have to lose a single person in this fight.  They could simply raze Gaza from the air and be done with it.

Fair enough, they do drop warnings most of the time, I retract. 

If you read this article, and others, you will see that their warnings are far more sinister. In other threads, I have asked where are they supposed to go? There are no homes, no food, no water, no hospitals, no nothing. Israel controls all of that. Thus, they are being ethnically cleansed. I am not claiming genocide, but definitely ethnically cleansed. This is why I said in the OP that it wouldn't surprise me if Israel deliberately baited a crowd, and then shot them. They are already flushing them out into the streets with no adequate resources to survive.

I have already gone over this. You need to research. They voted in Hamas in 2006. Then once Hamas was voted in, they did a 180 on the people and banned any elections afterwards. The Palis haven't been able to vote for 18 years.

From what I have read, it's usually 24 hours. Have you ever tried to move out with your family, along with everything that you need (not want, but need) in 24 hours? Yes, they can walk out within 5 minutes...into a land with no food, water, shelter, or medicine. Yippy! How compassionate.

Thank you.  I don't disagree with anything here, except the ethnically cleansing part. 
This doesn't have to happen.  With all the international support given to Hamas over the last 20 years they've been in power, they could have built Gaza into a thriving city, but instead their hatred of Israel redirected all that money to building these tunnels to attack/destroy Israel. 
What a waste. 

And the Palestinian people supported this, and still do.   Recent polling STILL shows Palestinians supporting Hamas by about 95%.

The sad part is that their fellow Arabs want nothing to do with them either, because they know if they allow them into Jordan or Egypt, that they will just start causing their same problems there. 
What's the solution?  How do you make peace with people who's stated ambition is to eliminate Israel?

I'm fully aware of the history.

However, the Palestinians should have demanded changes and even asked the international community.

Israel would wipe out this area in one day.
Instead they're trying to eliminate Hamas without mass casualties.
Obviously they're failing.

But if 40,000 Americans died in a terrorist attack you might think differently

I think there was a poll and most Palestinians are in favor of Hamas.

Yes, the people living in those places lose a lot of their belongings and become actual refugees, instead of just calling themselves refugees. 
It's a sad fact of war, but isn't that the repercussions of supporting terrorist leadership that has done NOTHING to support them for the last 2 decades they've been in power?

We don't know what life is like there, all we have is what we are told. I hear that the Gaza strip is an open air prison. Most of the water is polluted and the people can't do much without Israel harassing them at every turn. Hamas was voted into power in 2006. Then they banned elections. Therefore, the people haven't been able to vote for 18 years. I don't know why the people support Hamas. Maybe because they hate Israel worse. No different that over here how most Americans vote against a candidate, rather than for one.

Their military could level it all yes, but the international community is preventing that. They are trying to appeal to the Western world that they are some compassionate country that cares. Those are the reason they are not leveling it all at once...but they are ethnically cleansing them. They are just taking the long gradual route to do it so it won't be obvious.
