So, here's the deal. The judge held the hearing last Friday, March 2nd. What the judge actually said was "I hope to have an answer for everyone within the next two weeks", indicating that he's going to take his time looking at the testimony and whatever else was presented at that hearing. So, I wouldn't expect anything until this Friday at the soonest, or next Wednesday at the latest. Judge knows the world is watching him, and my bet is that he'll take his time but doesn't want to look like a government-sloth doing something on this in the last day of the 2 weeks he gave himself.Cannonpointer » 07 Mar 2024, 3:07 am » wrote: ↑ And they'd have gotten away with it, too - if it hadn't been for those meddling investigators!

Fani doesn't come back from this. NO ONE likes an embarrassing token.

No one can file new charges and start fresh - they gotta take a handoff from aunt jemima.

Very likely. I'm just pointing out that it hasn't happened yet. Apparently, someone on Twitter was blabbing about how the judge already made a decision.Cannonpointer » 07 Mar 2024, 2:24 pm » wrote: ↑ It's over. The prosecution is DOA.

The judge's decision is hardly relevant. The stink will never be overcome.Skans » 07 Mar 2024, 3:03 pm » wrote: ↑ Very likely. I'm just pointing out that it hasn't happened yet. Apparently, someone on Twitter was blabbing about how the judge already made a decision.

Trust and believe that conservatism and D is a through-line with attorneys. The Sword of Damocles dangles above the head of every bar member. The very most important thing to an attorney - far more important than propriety - is the APPEARANCE of propriety. And the grease slicks that fani has built into this case are the stuff of legend - sufficient to trip the most adroit of barristers.
No, the case if over. It's cooked. No matter how the judge rules, fani cannot effectively prosecute this case. All of her boyfriend's work is now under a cloud - as is her own. The mere fact that she ran on a get trump ticket - all by itself - nullifies her prosecution by giving her a personal stake in the case, which is verbotten. Add this *** funk with all the, "I be HAVIN' cash, honey - Shaquita ain't NEVER broke. I PAYS my way," and you've got a stink pile that no competent attorney would touch with a ten foot pole.
Okay, Clarrence Narrow - we'll accept the expertise of the dumbest **** in the thread.
Have Trump's lawyers tried to get the case tossed yet? If not, they certainly should. By now, the Judge is probably BEGGING them to do so. I suppose they are just biding their time. F- if they get it tossed out too quickly, then they won't make any money off of it!Cannonpointer » 07 Mar 2024, 3:12 pm » wrote: ↑ The judge's decision is hardly relevant. Trump could lay down and jack off in the court room and still win on appeal. There aren't 5 reasons to throw the case out - there are 50.

The gal in the video is leading the charge on behalf of a minor third party who was included in the indictment. Trump's attorneys are signatory to her motion and are arguing it with her and were questioning witnesses to bolster it during the hearing of the motion.Skans » 07 Mar 2024, 3:45 pm » wrote: ↑ Have Trump's lawyers tried to get the case tossed yet? To start new they would need a new indictment. They already HAVE an indictment, so getting a new one would be improper.
Prosecuting under the existing one means taking the existing case, *** grease and all, and running THAT slippery ball over the goal line, delivering it to an appellate court with all of fani's funk on it.
You need to focus on the attorneys' tits, sloe. You're WAY the **** out of your wheelhouse.
