They don't want permanent DST time, which is what the bill they oppose is calling for. 

I don't want it either, as do a bunch of other people I know... and none of us are Joos.

The farming community doesn't want it either, which was my point in the first place.

Dude 'permanent' dst means no dst...meaning you stop moving the time around based on the seasons. Jews DO want the time to be moved...because they need to pray at dawn...and the time of dawn changes...

And your argument is that the only reason DST exists and still exists is because of the Joos, which I say is laughable.

The Jews had nothing to do with it's implementation and only want to keep the practice as a matter of convenience. There are probably just as many people that want to keep it as don't as well, and they certainly aren't all Joos.

My point about the farmers is that they prefer standard time over DST, and we're opposed to the permanent implication of the latter... because of the disruption to their schedules... which is the same argument the Joos are making.

DST started in Germany of all places, in WW1... I guess by German Joos.

My claim is that jews are the primary (not necessarily the only) reason that the usa follows dst. If jewish interests oppose farmer interests you can be sure that jews will win...because the usa simply cares far more about jews than it cares about farmers. That is all.

At the same time when speaking about things we of course focus on primary causes...because that is how you make sense of the world. If I say that Carthage was destroyed by rome...you would just accept that as a normal and agreed upon fact of history. You aren't going to complain about how actually some Carthagenian was killed by a falling tree and pretend that falling trees should be considered on par with the roman empire for the fate of Carthage.

Well jews didn't steal my lunch money. I can afford lunch just fine. So, I was curious about this. There are 37 members of Congress who are Jews.  There are 535 members of Congress. That means that Jews make up 6.9% of the Legislative Branch.  I don't know what percentage of the population identifies as Jewish, but that sounds about right.

A Jew has never been President, BUT, the Biden Administration does have a lot of Jews appointed in Executive offices.  Now, everyone associated with the Biden Administration are leftist ****, and Jews such as Blinken, Cohen (CIA), Garland, Haines (National Intelligence), Klain (chief of staff), Rachel Levine - we all know who she is, Mayorkas, and Janet Yellen are no exception.  I would say that Jews are disproportionately represented in Biden's executive branch.  And, these people have not been good stewards of our Country.

There's one Jew on the Supreme Court - Elana Kagan.  I'm not sure what to make of that - she's one of the more moderate lefties.
