Biden said he wants to take Guns away.  New Federal ban on AR's, Ammo and Magazines.  He lied previously, now he openly admits - HE'S COMING FOR OUR GUNS.

Jimmy Carter is a fantastic human being, but sucked as a President.

This guy has plenty of opinions on Biden and Trump but fails to mention the elephant in the room, Joe's obvious decline in cognitive abilities.
No amount of Trump bashing will change that reality.

I'm looking forward to that first debate!

 I firmly believe that Joe Biden, with his staff of competent professionals, can steer the ship of state safely through the next four years and then, BOTH parties will be FORCED to nominate a candidate from a younger generation.  It will be like when Kennedy and his generation took over from the folks who had fought in WWI, or when Clinton and HIS generation took over from the folks who had fought WW2.  But we need to make it to 2028.  Liz Cheney warned her party and the country that, if Trump somehow gets back into the White House, it may very well be the time we elect Presidents.  I believe her.

Not all gun laws are senseless.  I do not believe anyone younger than 18 should be allowed to own any firearm, and only should be allowed to possess a firearm when supervised by their own parents, or another adult who is over the age of 25.

I also believe there should be liability associated with a parent who refuses to secure his/her firearms and then a child of theirs gets hold of the gun and harms others with it.  I do not believe that people should be legally required to secure their firearms from criminals who forcefully break into a person's house and steals them.

That's about it.  I believe that all, law-abiding, citizens (yes, only citizens) of the US should be allowed to own machine guns, semi-auto rifles, pistols, short barreled shotguns, or whatever type and configuration of a firearm they want.  I also believe that sound suppressors should not be regulated at all and encouraged to be used by hunters and those shooting outdoors.

But, I would also like to see the repeal of the GCA, '89 Import Ban, NFA and the Huge's Amendment (which would be repealed if NFA is repealed)

Well do you 100% agree with me?  I said that kids younger than 18 should not be allowed to own a gun.  And, as for possessing one, it must be in the presence of their own parents or some adult at least 25 years old. 

People need to be exposed to guns when they are younger to learn how to effectively and safely use them.  But, only to the extent there is an adult to give the kid possession of the firearm and supervise the kid.

so... you are not a 2A absolutist?  Some gun control makes sense to you, which means you are willing to wiggle a little bit on the "shall not be abridged" language of the amendment.  This means you are willing to have the political dialog in the public square influence how guns should be controlled.  News flash:  So is Joe Biden.  So am I.  So are most well-meaning Americans on both sides of this issue.  If you agree to live in a democracy, you have to be willing to accept a politically arrived-upon solution to gun control that might not exactly mirror yours.

Not really, at least not in terms of laws concerning what guns Citizens can own.  Minors have historically been viewed as incompetents, and/or property of their parents.  They really can't own anything.  And, laws used to hold parents responsible for the actions of their children.

So, I do believe that minors can be heavily regulated, not only in terms of guns, but also vehicles, drugs, surgeries, medical procedures, etc. They do not have the rights as a competent adult citizen would.

No.  I am against red flag laws.  You end up punishing someone for something they didn't do.  Now, if you want to pass laws that make it illegal to post intentions to shoot up a school, kill people, etc. then I have no problem taking away someone's guns in conjunction with that.

Non citizens should never be allowed to own guns.  If they have green cards, they should be allowed to rent guns at a shooting range for use at the shooting range. I wouldn't allow non-citizens to be LEO's either.
