All you've been saying for the last seven or eight month is how Ukraine is "finished" and the evil empire has been destroyed, and I just ain't seeing it.

Russia keeps losing men and material just like Ukraine does... rinse and repeat.

Yeah... and Germany took large swaths of Europe twice before getting their asses handed to them too. What's your point.

My point is, this thing should have never lasted more than a few months.

Both sides appear to have a reason for wanting to stretch this out. We know the West's is money.

Putin wants a slow attrition war.  NATO is not built for this.

in April 2022 in Turkey.  Then Boris *** Johnson showed up and killed it.

Putin will now do as he pleases.  There is no reason for him to trust the West.

So... you're saying that this isn't about Pootie reclaiming land for Mother Russia as much as it is him effectively engaging in a war with NATO under the guise of liberating Ukraine... which is what I've said all along.

NATO started this war in Spring 2014.  And has been provoking Russia ever since.
So Russia has responded to protect its west border.  Sort of like how the US might respond
if China and Russia were building military bases in Cancun or Havana.

NATO was salivated for this war for years.  Possibly why Nuland was fired last week.

Her obsession with Russia and how this PROJECT has failed....got her canned.

Russian media will report favorably for the Russian forces, just like the Ukrainian media will report favorably for the Ukrainian forces.

Tho say that one is propaganda and the other isn't, is simply disingenuous.

Case in point... we've been hearing for 18 months that the Ukrainians are out of men, out of ammo, and on the brink of surrender... yet they are still slugging it out to this very day.

According to the Russian media, Putin should have been in France by now with all the "*** kicking" his army has been doing, but it's not the case. Far from it actually.

Hitler had the majority of the German people convinced that they were winning the war until late 1944 too...
