I was just talking to a Russian who moved here when he was 13.
He still goes back to visit his dad about 3 times a year piggy-backing it on business trips.
He says we think we have alcohol abuse here in the US.
It's nothing compared to Russia. Not even close.
He brought up the availability of public transportation in even little towns (like the one we live in.)
In Russia drunk driving gets you 6 months in jail automatically.
So, I said that probably enables alcoholics and that stiff immediate sentence is worthless.
He paused and basically agreed that public transportation could be a factor.
Drunk driving isn't a big problem but just plain drinking is rampant.
Fun times indeed.

In Chyna that CEO may end up in prison or dead for that type of behavior, but not in the U.S.

Do you know of any specific cases where that was the direct cause of action against the CEO?

But I do think if that happened, it would be cloaked in ****.

MOSLTY, only psychopaths make it to the top on wall street, so there aren't a lot of cases where a CEO forewent profits for the good of the country.

I go to a butcher for my meat. But, for chicken, yeah, I think the wife buys Perdue. IIRC, Tyson is always some frozen, processed chicken-like substance.
