that is so stupid. That is Biden doing the job he was sent by his boss to do - get Ukraine to dump a do-nothing, corrupt prosecutor that the US, the EU, and the IMF all wanted removed. There is NOTHING about that that was illegal or even unethical... That is absolutely apples and oranges with Putin throwing the election in Trump's favor and possibly seeking something in return for his efforts.

Shokin was a corrupt prosecutor and the United States, and the European Union and the Interational Monetary Fund ALL wanted him gone. Joe Biden did exactly what his boss told him to do: strong arm the president of Ukraine to get rid of him.
Why did Burisma hire Hunter? Because his dad was the Vice President of the United States, of course. He was eye-candy. He was a rain maker. His presence on the board lent Burisma gravitas. American history is littered with stories of the children of national politicians going on to high profile jobs themselves. Do you think that Caroline Kennedy would have been named Ambassador to Japan if her name were Edna Lipschitz? Would John Eisenhower have been named Ambassador to Belgium if his name were Keeshawn Jones? Would ANY venture capitalist have bankrolled BIlly Beer if Billy Carter's brother hadn't been the President? And why do you think that corporate board members need to have industry-specific experience? I would be willing to bet that few, if any members of John Deere's BOD have any farming experience or farm implement manufacturing experience. They are on the board for their general business acumen and the CLOUT their name brings to the table. Hunter Biden's name was a feather in the cap of Burisma. "Look at us. We're the real deal.
