Seeing how VIOLENT CRIME was UP from 2021 to 2023 by 30%, a "drop" of under 50% is still a CRIME RATE that sucks!!

I am definitely not a rabid Biden supporter.  I am a tepid Biden supporter at best.  I am troubled by the transgender athlete issue just as you are.  I am disappointed that 2024 could not be a generational shift election where my generation laid down our battle axes and passed them to the Gen-Xers and Millennials.  We will both have to wait until 2028 for that to happen.  I just happen to believe that, if we elect Trump instead of Biden, we will forever regret it and may not have a functioning democracy by 2028 to pass on to those young folks.  

I just finished reading a book review in the New Yorker of a book entitled, Takeover:  Hitler's Final Rise to Power by Timothy Ryback.  The book review was written by Adam Kopnik and the title of the review is "The Enablers" subtitled, "Hitler didn't grab power, he was given it".  I highly recommend it.  The review was chilling.  I just ordered the book from Amazon and it is in my Kindle already.  I have two other books that I am presently reading but this one will jump to the head of the queue as soon as I am done with them.

2.  The border wasn't "closed" under Trump.  He didn't close the border or build a wall or make Mexico pay for it.  The flow of immigrants across our vast southern border has very little to do with who's in the White House and a whole lot to do with who is running the show in central and south America.

Here's what I KNOW.  The REAL job of a president is not walking up and down staircases, or riding bikes, or even orating.  The  REAL job is making tough decisions, listening to advisors, getting facts and ideas, assessing risks, and then, without dithering, being decisive and quickly making the right call.  And then, as situations mutate, being willing to adjust to fit the new circumstances.  By all accounts, Joe Biden does that job very well.
