I flew a helicopter.  I am not a trained helicopter pilot.  Have I not explained that to you well enough, or do you really need to beat this dead horse some more?

Is that how it "sounded" to you?  You have a very vivid imagination. I didn't MAKE it sound like anything.   All I said was that I flew a helicopter during summer training while attending USNA.  If you inferred something more, that's all on you.  I guess "ring envy" might be at play here.   I flew a T-34 too... and actually took off with the pilot in the back seat talking me through it.  We all did.

And I think it's silly to think that a global pandemic that killed 7 million people was blown out of proportion.  Were the tractor-trailers parked on the streets of Manhattan filled with COVID corpses a figment of my imagination?  Did democrats somehow make all the toilet paper disappear from stores?
