I didn't misspeak about anything.  I one typo.  You had an orientation ride in a T 34 with an instructor pilot.  He let you touch the controls while he maintained control of the acft.

I did this **** for a living, asshole.  Until you admit I did not lie I refuse to let it go.  Your history and reputation with honest is not distinguished.

You have no idea how much control the pilot allowed me to have because you weren't there.  He talked me through the takeoff but did not touch the controls throughout the evolution.  Most of my classmates had similar experiences.  It was fun.  That experience was extremely valuable for my classmates who went Navy Air.  And, given the fact that the guy in the back seat was a ring knocker as well, he remembered how cool it had been when he did it and let it be just as cool for us.

All you can do is blow smoke and act like some **** expert - who's never even BEEN in a T-34

Which seat were you in?  He was behind.  He was on the controls.  I have thousands of crew hours with the pilots right in front of me.  

A pilot is not going to give complete control to a person who is not a pilot, or in flight school.

And this all started when you tried to claim you could fly a helicopter.  Which is ****.  Next you will tell me how you can drive a tractor trailer.

Anybody can control a a helicopter in flight, *******.  Particularly while going straight.  My wife, who is not very coordinated, has been on the controls of a helicopter in flight.  While the pilot was on the controls.

I have no doubt and I never claimed anything else.  I got to take the controls of a T-34 (which you have never been in) and, with the pilot behind me, coaching me, telling me exactly what to do and when to do more or less of it, I took off with him NOT touching the controls.

As it turns out, a classmate of mine and I have been IM'ing this afternoon about grandchildren.  He was a career navy pilot who did a stint at P-Cola as an instructor and then, after doing 20, he went on to fly for Delta for 20 more years.

I JUST texted him the following:  

Hey buddy… I have a question…. remember when we were in Pensacola for 2nd class summer?  We actually got to handle the controls during a take off, didn’t we? I am certain that the instructor behind us had his hands and feet millimeters away from the controls but I recall doing it and him telling me I did a good job.  Is my moemory correct or Is that just created fiction?

he just answered:

No. That’s an accurate memory. If you and I went out for a flight I’d let you take off.

My navy classmate says differently.  And if you want to wonder why the two of us were IMing today, you can check my profile and you'll find that today is my birthday.

So... you, who have never been on a T-34 and have never even been in the **** NAVY, are calling me a liar.  That's weak.  

And I did have some time on the aircraft.  We were in P-Cola for two weeks and flew in T-34s and T-28s at least a dozen times while we were there... morning and afternoon hops.
Oh, and again.  I would not have been in the zone for O-6 for two more years after my retirement.  All you have is gratuitous baseless insults and you just keep digging the credibility hole you're in deeper and deeper.  Why do you insist on debasing yourself  insulting me and my service over this silly issue?
