But you are not taking into account that not all of them are paying taxes, asshole.  And even if they are they made a conscious decision to enter the country illegally.  There are some consequences for that.

Closing the border - which Trump NEVER did, by the way - is a totally different issue from closing the polling place.  I know, for example, that there are a lot of Mexican workers building new homes in southern Maine.  I am fairly certain that most of them are not naturalized citizens and I would not be surprised if a good portion of them might not have green cards.  I AM ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that none of them are allowed into any polling place in Maine on election day.
