That's silly, and, quite frankly, ignorant.  The economy of the entire world took an enormous shock from COVID and from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.  EVERYBODY got hammered.  The US leads the world in the recovery from all of that.

The Arizona Supreme Court decided what their abortion law would be.  And the Republican-controlled legislature backed the court's play.  

My point was that that move, like SCOTUS and their Dobbs debacle, is the political equivalent of the dog catching the car.  The Republicans have been whipping up their base with promises to criminalize abortion everywhere for 50 years.  Dobbs came along and there they were.  And every single special election or referendum on abortion since Dobbs has been a loss for the GOP.

 I think the play is to make abortion THE issue in November for Arizona and let the voters know that, if they elect a democratic legislature to support Katie Hobbs, that the first order of business will be to codify Roe in Arizona's constitution..

And there is no such thing as an after-birth abortion, Zits
