babies have been born. Nobody I know is supportive of killing babies. Many people want to give women the right to terminate the lump of reproducing cells in their uteruses if they don't WANT to be pregnant. They don't want to kill babies. Many women find, late in their pregnancies, that their fetus has fatal birth defects. They don't want to kill babies. Many women find, late in their pregnancies, that their own lives are at immediate danger if the pregnancy continues, They don't want to kill babies, either. I don't even talk to people who routinely refer to abortion as killing babies. They are being intentionally irritating.

In cases of rape or incest, my preferred recourse would be to put the piece of **** rapist down immediately (if they are in custody) and allow the victim the option of termination only after all other options have been presented and discussed with her beforehand.

So, let's say that the owner of an IVF clinic has the option to buy a standby generator to protect the ten thousand "little babies" as some would call them, housed in petri dishes in freezers on his site, but decides to save the money and bank on the public utility to keep the power running. If the town loses power in a massive ice storm and the clinic is without power for a week and ALL of the frozen embryos aka "babies", unfreeze and die, what does the DA charge him with? Mass Murder, Mass Manslaughter, or Mass Negligent Homicide? Ten thousand dead "babies" in one building is a lot of dead "babies", eh?
