You dumb asshole. Did you even read a word I wrote? If you did, you would see that I said your definition was too vague because it included almost all types of biases. The question isn't what is a bias in general. The question is what is survivorship bias in particular?

Eg. "Selection bias" doesn't have anything to do with issues in the Population...it relates to the sample only.

it came out of the experience described, but it isn't the only example.
