2. No whining. I am sure that most puppies, if not constrained, would go after small animals. My son's dog catches and kills squirrels all the time. She's not vicious. She's a dog. I had a cairn terrier that would go after slow-moving mourning doves and catch one occasionally. She was not vicious either. I certainly would never have considered taking her to a quarry and shooting her as my first best option. Instead, before I let her out into the backyard, I took a minute to make sure that any birds walking around in the grass were dispersed. How do YOU know that Noem's dog was "dangerously viscous[sic]" as you claimed? I would suggest that anyone who lets a young puppy run unleashed into a flock of chickens is grossly negligent, not the dog.
3. Again with the "whining" thing. I am not whining about anything. I have NEVER said that puppies deserve life more than human infants.
4. So... I'm a "******" because you are wrong about where I have resided? I find that humorously illogical at best.
5. if by "kicking my ***" you mean throwing a bunch of infantile insults at me and then claiming victory, then I would have to agree with you... you da man when it comes to schoolyard insults. you are the best at sticking the landing for a perfect 10 in an empty gymnasium. Other than that, not so much.
Abortion: my own personal BELIEF is that if the mother and fetus are healthy and remain so, abortions beyond the first trimester should be frowned upon. I also understand that my gender makes me totally unqualified to appreciate the complexity and gravity of pregnancies. I ALSO believe that the decision to end a pregnancy should be between a woman, her doctor, and her higher power and that the government has no business involving itself in the process, especially during the beginning stages.
Over the years, I have known several women who have had abortions. My sister had one when she discovered her fetus had anencephaly. Other women had ectopic pregnancies, and one had severe preeclampsia. ALL of them had been excited about impending motherhood, all of them had been busily decorating the nursery. NONE of them wanted anything other than a healthy baby. NONE of them wanted to terminate their pregnancy. NONE of them did so as a form of "after the fact" birth control. IMHO, the state would have had NO right to interfere with any of those women as they struggled with that decision. YMMV
Give the dog to a shelter and it gets euthanized what the difference?maineman » 03 May 2024, 9:21 am » wrote: ↑ obfuscation. all these insults are just your way of avoiding the fact that taking the 14 month old dog to a shelter was a viable alternative. Noem was not forced to kill a 14 month old dog. Bringing abortion into the discussion is equally weak. I would be much more incensed if Kristi Noem had shot her 14-month-old daughter.
I am no longer on active duty. I understand that completely. I am not pulling rank on you. All this talk about my mother and fluids running down her leg is just more smoke and clear evidence that you weren't taught manners as a child. My guess is that neither of your parents went beyond high school but you could just be a bad seed... you certainly put on the airs of someone proud of their white trash status.

I don't know. Vicious dogs may be frowned upon.
Doesn't matter!!! Chicken killing dogs deserve nothing but to be shot.jerrab » 03 May 2024, 12:58 pm » wrote: ↑ right. she should have not taken the dog to where chickens are.
Poor Girl.... all vicious dogs that are unadoptable eventually get put to death after spending considerable time being imprisoned.
Howdy Buffalo....I think the best solution here is to NOT get the neighbors or the police involved....just quietly make the problem go away with a cross bow and then feed the problem to the hogs.Buffalo » 03 May 2024, 1:28 pm » wrote: ↑ Doesn't matter!!! The neighbors hunting dog was killing my Dad's sheep. He warned the neighbor guy ( about 2 miles down the county road we lived on) that IF he caught the dog killing his sheep he would kill it. He caught the dog killing a sheep later on on our ranch and he shot the dog. The neighbor called the law and some deputies came out. The neighbor claimed my Dad killed his $400 hunting dog. (this was in the 60's) My Dad said OK I will pay for your hunting dog if you will pay for the $1500 worth of sheep that turd hound killed. The neighbor left.
It is really appalling and disgusting how you libtards fret over the killing of an animal that deserves it but have no qualms about killing an unborn baby.

Ever hear about a no-kill abortion?

3. Yes, you are whining. And being arrogant. Your attitude is "the nerve of the little people to speak to me that way".
4. You have posted where you have resided. You have said how many states you have been in.
5. No, dum dum. I will kick your *** on any topic that catches my eye. You ain't as smart as you think you are. Your posts show one who is easily influenced by left wing news sources.
Well, speaking of dodgin an issue. Frowned upon? Yeah, you took a real stance there, ya mental midget. Your gender? LMAO! As far as your examples, sorry about your sister or other women, I posted about health issues not being a factor. Here is again:
Let's talk about abortion. I am guessing that you think women should carry the child to term as long as it is healthy and she is healthy then offer the baby up for adoption. In line with your opinion re dogs.
You really went out on a limb with those answers.
Here is a stance.
I believe a elective abortion is the woman's choice right up to viability. After, health issues only.
That a stance. None of "frowned upon" ****.
