The stack I found wasn't all of them either. I'm hoping to run across the rest this Summer.

We have been cleaning out the garage.

Have seen a lot of good shows myself but wish that I would have came to the world earlier. Born in 1977 and did not start attending shows until 1995. A lot of good artists were either way past their prime or done by that time.

I feel that way about bands like Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd, among a few others.

In the early and mid 80's there were just too many good bands touring to ever hope to catch them all.

This stash of stubs I found was just a few that I didn't have room for on my corkboard I had in my bedroom. There are a lot more hiding somewhere than just this dozen or so I found.

Had I been born earlier.. I would have made a point to see Rush, Husker Du, Pink Floyd, Queen, and The Clash. A lot of folks think of the 80's as of time full of nothing but new wave fluff and hair metal. There was some of that but some of the best/most influential bands were around then or making new music. Ask any modern rock band who they were influenced by.. a lot of them will answer Rush, Iron maiden, metallica, the clash, sonic youth, the cure, husker du, bad brains.

Saw Maiden several times, Priest too... and Def Leppard, Dokken, Ratt, and even Ozzy. Probably saw KISS three or four times too.

I saw Ozzy but it was Feb 2011 in Tacoma, Washington and he was a bit tired and washed up. 1983, on the other hand.. that would have been simply epic. 

Pink Floyd was the start of the musical obsession. learning to fly and run like hell.. those two songs are what lit the lamp. To see those live would have been amazing.

Hard to believe was 30 years ago.

That and the Rush show I posted the stub from earlier were the two best concerts I've ever attended. There is just no way I could say that one was better than the other.

Well, you have my envy. Rush.. **** Neil Peart. To see the grand master of drums at work would have been out of this world.

the nazis murdered people in ukraine poland etc. what  body  count  do they deny? in each country.
