The biggest reason most of them left was the groomer/chomo labels attached to their profiles.

Another factor was the board recently going down for an extended period of time. Anytime that happens, membership declines because people find other interests and just never come back. We lost several regulars here just recently because it.

That was what led to eventual downfall of the .org site too. It was going offline so often that participation eventual dwindled to only about half a dozen regulars... and for a site that depends on contributions from the membership to stay open, that's a death sentence.
