Rippy and I had a rapprochement many months ago.  We were actually civil to one another and saved our barbs for other adversaries.  He purposefully broke that truce in a big way, and I just decided life was too short to waste any bandwidth on folks with so little integrity.  I am beginning to think that maybe that is how I ought to deal with you, but then, you and golfboi just keep dangling these low-hanging **** in front of me, I can't pass them up.  Sorry.

2.  I grew up in an age where you were a fan of your local teams.  I grew up in NYC.  I watch the Yankees, Islanders, and Rangers.  You are not man enough for hockey.

I grew up in Illinois and there wasn't any youth hockey.  I played baseball.  But my son was an all-state defenseman in Maine.  He and I both cheered last night when Dave Pastrnak put in the game winner against the Leafs in OT.

I get hometown teams.  what I don't get is the Mets.  They are chumps.  How many world series rings have they won so far in the 21st century?

There are just some people in real life, for example, that I would just as soon have nothing to do with. I feel the same way about some people on here. And if I really don't enjoy ANYTHING about our interactions and they really are people I wouldn't chose to associate with in real life, why bother with them here?

The mets won two while the cubs were on their 108 year drought.  It was the cubs they chased down in 69 while ten games out in august.  And they beat the **** out of them in 86.  You don't want to go there, Gilligan.
