It will be interesting to see if his prediction holds true...or if the NATO nations send mass quantities of their own  kids [mostly from poor families] to the slaughter.

not a huge surprise. Ukraine was one of the poorest nations in Europe prior to the war. Not really as to why they would be so poor considering they have long been a place known for agriculture and so that stabilizes things a bit.

Militarily it was BY FAR the largest military in Europe with the largest land mass.  A 900 mile front.
750,000 men trained to NATO standards.  10 years NATO assisting in building 100 of miles of
trenches and bunkers.

This is/was a massive war on a scale NATO has been shocked by.  The goal was to collapse Russia
in hopes Putin would be overthrown.

In terms of gdp per capita.. Ukraine is quite poor. I do not care if they win or lose but I always thought that they would lose. The only question was when their end would come. This is a battle of David. vs. Goliath on so many levels with economics being one of them.

It does change things with outsiders donating their time, money, and resources to Ukraine in hopes of Ukraine somehow winning. I think that everybody knows that this is David vs. Goliath and just can't admit to it.

No. I do not follow it day by day. I read an article or so every six months. Not much changes on a day by day basis. I thought it was David vs. Goliath on the first day and maintain that to this day. There is no evidence that Ukraine (with or without outside help) ever truly stood a chance.

ukraine is the david (with or without NATO assistance) and Russia is the Goliath. Russia has more troops and more resources. I do not need to have the personal attachment to the story that you do in order to see this. It means nothing to me if Russia wins or loses.
