This is why I wonder about Musk. Have you seen him talk? He can't communicate a damn thing. I am sure he is smart, but you still have to be able to sell and communicate effectively. He can't. So how does he do it?

I don’t know all the details so some speculation is necessary. Perhaps he was just brilliant. Perhaps he had ties to wealthy investors who helped him fund his first Internet startup, which he later sold for (if I remember correctly) $300M.

A Internet business back in the 90s bubble does not take that much money to start up. With less than $50K you could build with simple HTML/CSS/JS and hire someone to do SEO and get a lot of site visitors. You were alive back in the 90s; remember how decentralized the Internet was back then? It was MUCH easier to build an Internet business worth millions and sell it to some big company.

It’s not a stretch that he had connections who gave him the startup money.

His first sale’s proceeds gave him the seed money to buy the next set of ventures.

Possibly. He would need some money to come over to America from Africa. Usually, to do that and live somewhat decently, you have to have money beforehand.

You have to be born to need money. there needs next generations to have lifetime living when current generations die. Life creates reproductions naturally, societies promise life isn't free when forced to survive this constant adapt or become extinct situation conceived to decomposed. every individual has to survive one at a time cradle to grave, occupying time this rotation and each one they change form in shaped since conceived.
