Truncating is taking part of a sentence and normally indicated by "...".
You should have stayed in high school and taken an English composition class.

isn't it funny how @golfboy just can't quite bring himself to admit that fifty votes are NOT all that is needed to pass a bill in the Senate when all Senators are present and voting.
No bill makes it out of a full, all-voting senate without 51 votes. Years later, and I have repeatedly rubbed his nose in that stupid quote and he NEVER admits he was wrong.

I have NEVER EVER said that a bill could not pass the Senate with less than 51 votes. I HAVE said that a bill cannot pass the Senate with only 50 votes if all senators are present and voting. YOu are on record as saying that they can. You are wrong. And you won't admit it.
