Do  you deny saying, "yes *******, fifty votes is all that is needed to pass a bill in the senate when all senators are present and voting."?

If you do deny it, then there is really nothing left to say on the subject.

Nearly everyone who was on the dot org site not only saw your post where you said it but saw you repeatedly defend it over the years.  That's a fact that stands unchallenged.

A bill can pass with 50 yes votes but requires the VP to vote yes

no.  it got 51 votes.  or it doesn't pass.
the VP's vote is a vote. without it, the yea side only has 50 votes and it fails to pass.

So...now that you've never said anything to the contrary, I would assume that you would agree with me that only a complete idiot would ever think that fifty votes were all that were needed to pass a bill in the senate when all senators are present and voting and would also agree with me that the number was fifty-one?

Can a bill pass the Senate on a 50/49 vote, when a Senator has recently died and has not yet been replaced?
All Senators would be present, and voting.
