Ask any multi millionaire how much a loaf of bread, a gallon of milk, or a gallon of gas is right now, and they won't be able to tell you because they have people that buy these things for them.

As far as watching "cable" news, we haven't done that in a decade or better now. We only have one working TV in the house and the only time it's on is if there is a ball game I want to see or we are watching a movie.

The truth is much easier to discern in the printed word than when watching live propaganda. Lol

people are missing the point here...fast food jobs are patently entry level jobs for teenagers entering the workforce to learn responsibilities and work ethic...they were never intended to be career jobs unless you worked into management or franchise ownership...these jobs were to get you through school until you started your career in whatever field you earned your degree in...

In a service oriented economy, working at a fast food joint becomes more of a career than an entry level position for many.

The issue with mandating a higher wage at the lowest tier jobs is that every other position above that lowest tier must follow suit to stay competitive in the labor market.

No one is going to fit pipe or frame a house for the same money the guy cooking fries at Mickey D's is making, so it drives prices up on everything across the board... and at the end of the day, automation is going to eliminate most of the lower tier jobs anyway. Then what?

They been saying that for years.

A couple of techs could probably cover a pretty sizable territory but yeah, the machines will need maintenance... until they teach them how to fix themselves.
