Death threats.

Fact.

I will, myself, say that I am inclined to think that a $35 donation to Democrats four years ago will, at worst, cause the  Commission on Judicial Conduct to simply remind the judge of the rules.

Doesn't matter if it's $35, $350, or $3500... it's still shows bias on the judge's part.

Not to mention that his daughter worked for the Biden/Harris campaign in 2020 as well.

That makes Merchan far from "impartial".

I AM CERTAIN that a $35 donation is against the LAW of the State of New York and grounds for an APPEAL since Merchan BY THE RULES OF THE COURTS also required him to RECUSE HIMSELF over that $35 donation!! You seem to think LAWS only apply to Republcans and any Democrat that BREAKS THEM should get a pass at best and a little "reprimand" at worst. He should be REMOVED AS A JUDGE and never be allowed to be one EVER again!! Now THAT would be amply punishment for a LAW BREAKING JUDGE, don't you agree?  I mean didn't you say before that "no one is above the law"??? Or is that another of those "only if you are a Republican does that apply".

And for the record, I have a keyboard that is starting to break down on this laptop and needs replaced, so letters get missed at times, ****!!
Liberals are spoiled children, miserable, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic & useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats ~O'Rourke

The Democratic Party seems intransigent on their position of keeping the party ‘woke,’ detached, exclusionary, and totally insane.

Oh, and I suppose you believe they would NOT have received death threats if they voted the other way, huh?
You know as well as I do what would have happened if they had acquitted Trump.  The Antifa and BLM riots would have gone into full destruct mode and burned down half of the Bronx and Brooklyn.

You ignorant liberals are SO totally blind to reality!

No, J6 was NOT peaceful, it was orchestrated by Pelosi and Bowser to have FBI agents like Ray Epps inserted into the crowd posing as Trump supporters, and using a bullhorn to instigate breaking into the Capitol with these words:
"In fact tomorrow, I don't even want to say it because I will probably be arrested. Tomorrow we need to go into the Capitol," he is heard saying. Later that day, he is recorded saying, "I'm going to put it out there. I'm probably going to go to jail for it, OK? Tomorrow, we need to go into the Capitol.
Do you deny that Trump offered Pelosi the 10,000 National Guard troops to aid security for the J6 demonstration which they had a permit for?  Do you deny that Pelosi REFUSED that additional security, BUT made sure she had a camera crew standing by inside the Capitol to film the riot she was hoping and planning for?

So how is it that instigator FBI plant Ray Epps gets a 1 year of probation sentence when others who were arrested received jail sentences of 22 years, held in solitary WITHOUT being permitted to contact an attorney, while others were held for 2 years in prison while awaiting trial, making a mockery of their Constitutional right to a speedy trial while also being denied medical treatment, adequate food, and access to religious services?

OK nitwit?  Tell me again about how we're stuck in a Fox News silo, and make sure to include the left-wing fake news reports from CNN and MSNBC that ALSO stated those facts I've just listed above!

And when you're unable to do that, the least you can do is yank your head out of your dumb *** and recognize what a chump you are for gullibly swallowing all the **** that Biden, Pelosi, and the fake news media have told you about who caused the J6 riots!
FBI lost count of how many paid informants were at Capitol on Jan. 6, and later performed audit to figure out exact number: ex-official
NY Post By Miranda Devine Sept. 19, 2023

The FBI had so many paid informants at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, that it lost track of the number and had to perform a later audit to determine exactly how many “Confidential Human Sources” run by different FBI field offices were present that day, a former assistant director of the bureau has told lawmakers.

Former Capitol Hill Police Chief Steven Sund has said that, in addition to the paid informants, the FBI had at least 18 undercover agents in the crowd plus an estimated 20 from the Department of Homeland Security.

Oh, so FBI "witnesses" were there to prevent violence, according to you? Your denials are total ****, and you've proven what a gullible idiot you prefer to be!
Is that why they used bullhorns to instigate the crowd to "GO INTO THE CAPITOL, INTO THE CAPITOL" as Epps did?
Your denials are typical for an ignorant liberal sycophant like you but I've seen the memo from the desk of President Trump making the offer, AND NOW IT'S BEEN SCRUBBED FROM THE INTERNET!
Here's the testimony from the Capitol police chief confirming it, after he and anyone else who reported that fact were fired for daring to go against Pelosi and her lies!:
Ex-Capitol Police Chief Says Requests For National Guard Denied 6 Times In Riots
NPR JAN 11, 2021
The former chief of US Capitol Police says security officials at the House and Senate rebuffed his early requests to call in the National Guard ahead of a demonstration in support of President Trump that turned into a deadly attack on Congress. Former chief Sund -- who resigned his post last week after House Speaker Pelosi called for him to step down -- made the assertions in an interview with The Washington Post Sunday. Sund contradicts claims made by officials after the assault on Capitol Hill. Sund's superiors said that the National Guard and other additional security could have been provided, but no one at the Capitol requested it. Sund told the Post that House Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving was concerned with the "optics" of declaring an emergency ahead of the protests and rejected a National Guard presence. Like Sund, Irving and Stenger have also since resigned. Sund says he requested assistance 6 times ahead of and during the attack on the Capitol. Each of those requests was denied or delayed, he says.

Memo: Trump Pentagon Offered National Guard to Capitol 4 Days Before J6 Riots
Frank Diez 6/10/22
WASHINGTON (77WABC) — New government memos show that the pentagon first raised the possibility of sending national guard troops to the US Capitol four days before the J6 riots. First reported by Just the News, this reportedly set in motion a series of rejections by capitol police and democrats that left congress vulnerable as threats of violence were rising. An official timeline of the Jan. 6 tragedy put together by Capitol Police shows that a defense department official reached out to Capitol Police Dep. Chief Sean Gallagher on Jan. 2, 2021, to see if a request for troops was necessary — but the offer was rejected after a consultation with then-chief Steve Sund.

Gen. Kellogg: Trump did request Nat’l Guard troops on Jan. 6th; asks Congress to release his testimony
Retired US Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg said last week that Trump did in fact request National Guard troops be deployed in DC before the breach of the US Capitol on Jan. 6. Kellogg said he was present at the time of Trump’s request, and Congress should release his testimony to the public.

I wonder at what point Pelosi retired to her secured location?
It seems she didn't know about the Capitol being breeched, so it must have been early.....also wonder why her departure wasn't accompanied by a warning to other members of Congress.

and Sund's claims were disputed by others... he said she said.

yawn

and as to Epps:

A former US Marine who was targeted by online conspiracy theorists has been sentenced to one year of probation for his role in the Capitol riot.Ray Epps, 62, pleaded guilty last year to disorderly conduct. He was pictured outside Congress on 6 January 2021, but did not go inside the building.Epps, who has always denied claims by fringe news outlets and online activists that he was a federal agent, avoided jail at a hearing on Tuesday. In addition to one year of probation, he was sentenced to 100 hours of community service.
