Are you positive Trump is going to jail?

Was it the fact that Debs was in jail or his politics that he didn't get elected?

to think they wanted murderers and thieves running the country from jail is the dumbest and most unpatriotic thing I have ever heard.
I never said they wanted any of the such.

All I said was that there is no law or Constitutional mandate that prevents a convicted felon from holding the office of POTUS in this Country... even if it's from a jail cell.

That's just the facts jack.

I've been a lifelong dimocrat until I witnessed them turn this country into a banana Republic and persecute their political opponent.

And to do my part to save democracy, I will be voting for Donald J Trump on November 5th 2024 for the first time. 🇺🇲 😎

your point that the constitution does not say a president can serve from jail so he can? dumbest idea ever. it also does not say that the white house cannot serve humans to guests  so that will be okay with the constitution? that the white house can be cannibals? and be vampires who kill their guests. trump and you say he can shoot people, where is that in  the constitution?

No, it's called following the Constitution and not dismissing it.

You want to change it, amend it... otherwise, live by it.

You progressive leftists always want to say you love the Constitution, until it doesn't satisfy your needs, and then you just cast it aside.

Sorry jerra, it doesn't work that way.

No, that's what YOU are doing.

You are trying to make it say something it doesn't... I am merely interpreting it as written.

If you don't like it, lobby to change it.

Good luck.

Would not that be adding an amendment? One has to pass an amendment to remove previous ones there. That is why it was called a living document. It could evolve with population unlike rule of law legislating morality and legal precedence every generation has to obey cradle to grave in every New World Order called alternate realities each generation gap living.
