they were called “opiated Ellie oilers”

We consumed Thai sticks and hashish back in the day
but that **** was expensive for my poor *** back then.

My dad was a total pothead back then and he and mom
were divorced.  I visited him one time when I was about 16
and I smoked hashish for the time while we listened to
Pink Floyd 'Dark Side of the Moon'......Holy ****...I thought I was dying

That was the ****. I only smoked it once, and I walked four miles in a dissociated state, realizing all at once that I had walked all that way without even knowing it lol. It was bright green like a crayon that ya color grass with. I never forgot the name - though God only knows what it was, how many names it had, or what it was dusted with that made it so trippy.

We used to take pounds and put them into a big bowl covered with silk cloth and shake the **** out of them, collecting pollen/powder and baking it in the oven to create what we called "kief" (pronounced keef) - which we then sold as a sort of hash.

I haven't had much problem with weed smokers getting in my way.

If they do bother me, I still consider their weed smoking their own business - not an excuse.

Lots of people that seem illogical or plain stupid are **** up on something.

I suppose...

I knew a guy who was always smoking weed - claimed it was for his arthritis. We just figured him for a degenerate pothead, on acount of him being a degenerate pothead.

I left town for several years, and when I returned I went and saw the guy. He was no longer a stoner - which I found quite shocking. I asked him about it, and he said, "Oh, they have CBD now. That **** works just as good as weed - and I don't have to get **** up to get the benefit."

You could have bowled me over with a feather. But there it was.

So I don't judge. I let people have their **** medicine. For some folks, weed is medicine. For others, it's poison. I let them sort themselves out - and some of them manage that task badly.

In a strange way, that reminds me of people that get stressed out by **** in life and resort to drink.
It's "medicinal" in that it can relieve stress, make you forget, blow off steam, etc.
Then it can be overused and abused.
I knew a guy (actually more than one) that followed that exact path into near destruction.
When they quit the getting **** up part, their stress and stressors basically melted away.
There some obvious benefits to not being a drunk of course.
But an overlooked part is that the experience of near oblivion, health and social chaos, lends a certain perspective when a person ceases to be their own worst problem. Therapists would call it a healthy fear to remember some of the misery you put yourself through. Its helps to keep a person away from the thing he quit.

I just bought 6 sheets of 1.5" thick high density styrofoam today to insulate a pair of garage doors. 
Historically those sheets have cost $15 to $20 .
They are a petroleum product BTW.
They were $45 a sheet today.
I'll pass the cost onto my young Libtard Tenants of course......
