Sometimes it's there, and sometimes it not.

The "*" in front of my screen name is permanent... placed there by me intentionally, since my original name (same as now with, but with no asterisk) was permanently taken out in a contract mob hit some time back.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2023 signed a law raising the state minimum wage of fast food workers to $20 per hour. The law went into effect in Jan. Owners of fast casual chain Chipotle previously warned the measure would lead to a “substantial increase” in food prices for California customers.

A Rubio’s spokesperson did not mention the law directly, but attributed the decision to the “rising cost of doing business” in the state.

I tried to tag you in a post over the weekend.  I couldn't.  I figured the asterisk in front of the name screws with the code.  I get tagged constantly by BlackVagina in threads I have no interest in.  SO I added it to mine.  He has been in a meltdown ever since.  At first he whined I turned off my notifications.  He said I lied about it.
