I don't know very much about him. But I do know that he had a powerful personality and a very strong will. And I don't believe anyone can manage that without being a genuine nationalist. It is hard to overstate the strength of will it would take to force the winners of WWII to treat France as one of them and give her the fifth seat after China, Russia, USA and England.
