Had to look up "dan".  Too funny.

There was another issue where he suddenly gained experienced.  When he first got here he was throwing his physical prowess around and tell us about his referee controlled fights.  I asked him if he was ever in a fight as an adult in a bar or a street fight.  For a few years he stuck to his story that he never had.

Then, we had to migrate to .org he was talking to a poster there, claiming he never had a fight as an adult.  Then suddenly he remember a fight in his driveway where he got pepper sprayed, but managed to win.

THat is not something you forget.

I use to shoot skeet all the time with a 12 ga pump.  I was very good at it.  And then used it to hunt varmints and birds.

Oh yeah, there is the answer to one of your questions.  But, after a few other experiences in life, shooting unarmed animals was not  for me.  Not much of a challenge.

It's not solely the gauge, it's largely the pump. For skeet you would use a side by side, or over/under.

You've CLEARLY never hunted bird.

If you had you'd know that 

A) you don't buy a 12 gauge pump for skeet

B) Birds behave differently in flight, and flushed birds are easier to hit than a duck, goose or dove "on the wing"
