Nashville just elected a mayor that makes Frey look like a staunch conservative.

The cops have been militarized against the people are are trained to view us as meat. It's not that they are people too and there are some bad ones. It's that they are criminals and the good ones are the exception. That is what you need to understand. They are not hired, paid, or trained to protect and serve. They are hired, paid, and trained to keep their boot on our necks for the parasite class.
They get WAAAAY more respect than they deserve. Just look at you, making excuses for them, when all they do all day long is raise revenues from you and your family members through acts of road piracy. They violate rights for a living. They almost never protect anyone or serve anyone except the bankers. They are muscle - stupid, badly trained, bribed, dishonest muscle.
Do YOU get a **** 20 year FULL retirement and a hundred plus thousand dollar salary on a high school education? Does ANYONE except a cop?
Yes/No?
That is what you are instructed. But what do you actually SEE?
Chum.
That's just chum to get us fighting between ourselves instead of coordinating to get a more just society - which starts with reigning in these thug swine. NOT defunding them - but removing their immunity for crimes and holding them accountable to KEEP the law instead of breaking it every day of their lives, swarming to harass our people and eat out their substance.

Outnumbered is a meaningless term, so long as they have numerical superiority at the intersections of us and them.*rippy38 » 29 Jun 2024, 9:58 am » wrote: ↑ With a National average of 2.5 cops per 1000 citizens, they view us as cattle by default.
They are greatly outnumbered, to say the least.
I have not been the droid they are looking for since my early twenties. I have not had bad interactions with them. I manage quite well to avoid police state actions.ROG62 » 29 Jun 2024, 12:49 pm » wrote: ↑ Sorry, but I don't agree...
they're not militarized unless they need to be...
cops, like mechanics, are in training all the time...
I learned early on, whether at work, school, driving, etc. not to draw attention, IE, fly below radar...sometimes I don't, and with that, I accept the terms cuz I was a *******...
Of course, because most people don't want to **** with the cops. The best way to prevent an interaction with the police is to not do anything that would warrant a police response.Cannonpointer » 29 Jun 2024, 2:08 pm » wrote: ↑ Outnumbered is a meaningless term, so long as they have numerical seniority at the intersections of us and them.
The day the public stops pretending they are anything but the Stasi is the day that numbers MIGHT matter.
I can promise you this much. If you **** with them, you WILL find yourself outnumbered by them.
It rather goes without saying that avoiding cop interactions is a good idea - and "not doing anything" is certainly a good way to manage that.*rippy38 » 29 Jun 2024, 2:12 pm » wrote: ↑ Of course, because most people don't want to **** with the cops. Even with that said, if total anarchy were to break out, the local Police Departments would be irrelevant.
The L.A. riots of '92 are a prime example.
I have discovered over the years that when I find myself in a situation where I have no choice but to interact with the cops, that reacting with the understanding that they are just doing their jobs goes a long way in the reaction ending without incident.Cannonpointer » 29 Jun 2024, 2:15 pm » wrote: ↑ It rather goes without saying that avoiding cop interactions is a good idea - and "not doing anything" is certainly a good way to manage that.
But SOMETIMES, just driving down the road and obeying every law will still result in interacting with them. DUI check points, wrecks up ahead, etc. And when that happens, you are dealing with armed criminals and HOPING that this is not your day in the barrel. Sometimes I would wager money that they flip coins on whether they will arrest the perp or the victim when they go out on calls.
That was true in Nazi Germany and Stalin's East Germany.*rippy38 » 29 Jun 2024, 2:32 pm » wrote: ↑ I have discovered over the years that when I find myself in a situation where I have no choice but to interact with the cops, that reacting with the understanding that they are just doing their jobs goes a long way in the reaction ending without incident.

Was it not?
Not **** with the bull has ALWAYS been an excellent way to avoid getting the horn. It isn't 100% - but it's a fine policy, and I am quite hopeful that you have not mangled my meanings in such a way that you are led to believe I recommend some OTHER course of action.
The fact that it is wise to avoid criminals doesn't justify what criminals do, though. And it almost SEEMS like you are suggesting that avoiding doing stuff that draws the bad guys somehow justifies the bad guys.

Crooked cops, crooked lawyers, crooked DAs, crooked DCS workers, crooked bankers, crooked politicians... etc etc.Cannonpointer » 29 Jun 2024, 3:04 pm » wrote: ↑ You have a right to that opinion.

Odd. The basic tenant of real conservatism is distrust of govt.*rippy38 » 29 Jun 2024, 2:58 pm » wrote: ↑ When my local PD starts shooting Jews in the street, then I'll start worrying... but for now, I don't consider the badge I see in the 7-11 getting a cup of joe as my enemy.

Crooked comes in a lot of flavors, and infects everything. It's part of the human psyche... and cops are humans too.
I distrust politicians more than the cops.
