Both CNN and MSNBC refused to air former President Trump's speech to supporters following his court hearing Tuesday where he pled not guilty to 37 federal felony counts stemming from his alleged improper retention of classified records.CNN anchor Jake Tapper defended the decision not to air the speech Tuesday night, bluntly telling audiences it could be "dangerous" to do so."We’re not carrying his remarks live because, frankly, he says a lot of things that are not true and sometimes potentially dangerous," Jake Tapper told CNN audiences and guest Rep. Alexandira Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y..

So why don't you show us that "business model" you claim to know so much about?
Is it anything like the MSNBC and CNN business models that believe you're better served by their refusal to cover anything that Trump says or does?
That's what you like? Having a network that decides what you're stupid enough to swallow, and keep you from using your own ability to decide for yourself what you should believe?
That's the kind of frightened sissies you prefer to support, isn't it?
“Fox has a business model with an inherent contradiction, which is that they amass this huge audience by giving them what they want – and what they want is rightwing propaganda and bigotry and conspiracy theories,” Gertz said.Zeets2 » 08 Jul 2024, 11:47 am » wrote: ↑ Really?

When it comes to those negotiations, Carlson’s departure could be a blessing and a curse, said Matt Gertz, a senior fellow at Media Matters.
“Fox has a business model with an inherent contradiction, which is that they amass this huge audience by giving them what they want – and what they want is rightwing propaganda and bigotry and conspiracy theories,” Gertz said.
The fact is that "giving the audience what it wants" is nothing more than giving them the most honest reporting they demand, something they have NEVER found at CNN or MSNBC!Blackvegetable » 08 Jul 2024, 11:53 am » wrote: ↑ “Fox has a business model with an inherent contradiction, which is that they amass this huge audience by giving them what they want – and what they want is rightwing propaganda and bigotry and conspiracy theories,” Gertz said.

Simple, nitwit! He got the reason Fox's audience returned is because they found Fox to be the most hones and fairly balanced network on cable, and he can't stand it so he has to resort to lies about what he THINKS we want.Blackvegetable » 08 Jul 2024, 12:01 pm » wrote: ↑ What did Matt get wrong?

The Daily Beast reports that in a text exchange with Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott on November 4, Carlson expressed concern that the network was “getting hammered” after calling Arizona for President Biden before anyone else. Scott responded that Fox needed to “let the data folks defend their decision,” and Carlson wrote back that “if I can help in any way, I hope you’ll let me know.”
In more urgent texts to Bret Baier, Carlson wrote ““I continue to think the company isn’t taking the [sic] seriously enough. We need to do something to reassure our core audience. They’re our whole business model.” Carlson floated various ideas, including interviewing Fox News Decision Desk Director Arnon Mishkin on his show, to “help calm our viewers down.”
