The speech you saw was given at a place about a  20 minutes walk from the capital.  The riot started BEFORE the speech was over.

The speech was 45 minutes long, and there were other speakers before Trump. The vanguard knew what they came to do, and  Trump told them it would be "wild."  They get enough red meat from him early on that they couldn't wait until he was done to start smashing the heads of capitol policemen.

So tell me.  When did Trump have a vote on the Supreme Court?  Which vote was HIS in the 6-3 decision?
Understand, I have no problem with Trump stating he killed off Roe, but the fact is that nominating justices to the SC does not guarantee they will vote the way the president prefers, does it?
And the fact it that ending Roe was nothing more that the majority finally recognizing the fact that correctly interpreting the Constitution REQUIRES that the 10th Amendment be adhered to, since nowhere in the Constitution can you find the word 'abortion' listed anywhere.  Now, if you want to blame Trump for choosing to nominate justices that believe in the sanctity of the Constitution, then you have no understanding of the job of the Judicial branch of government.  So your problem amounts to nothing more than the fact that you want the Constitution to be ignored by the SC when it suits your personal liberal desires, and you DON'T believe in state's rights, do you?
