Typical of catholics, the inquisition cared less about what you believed and more about what you actually were. It was antisemitic because they knew jews opened the gates to toledo and generally just helped Muslims conquer Spain. Kinda like how jews helped Germany lose the world wars. It's interesting to learn that black folks call white trash crackers. I thought cracker was a more general term for all whites.

One thing about Christian ethics (perhaps many religions have this) is the "pray for your enemy" thing.
At some point you hate/fear them less. Theoretically.
That is beyond my conception of realistic...

Loving your enemy means there is no politics. The only philosophy consistent with that is anarchy. And I cannot see anything wrong with just taking everything from a person with a 'love your enemy' philosophy. If anyone preaches loving their enemy and they survive longer than a day, then they are just lying. At some point they decided to eat rather than give it to someone else. They made selfish decisions all day long to survive.
