I haven't read it yet, but what I have heard so far is that project 2025 wants to halve military spending (doesn't go NEARLY far enough) and kill the dep't of education (without trying and executing its top officials, thus not going far enough). 

If the rest of it lives up to that, Trump SHOULD be down with it. 

But yeah - he isn't, so, yeah. That funky stank of desperation.
