For the month, it was NEGATIVE.

The Consumer Price Index, a measurement of the average change in prices for a commonly purchased basket of goods and services, dropped 0.1% from May,

In June, 2021 it was 0.9

Are you serious?

The massive spending that he was warned about by his own team led to the Feds jacking up interest rates.
The Fed raised rated to slow all the $$$ spreading around.

Under Trump they were in the 3s
Now 7%

Oops

Despite warnings from Republicans and even former President Obama’s own economic advisor Larry Summers that the American Rescue Plan would trigger inflation, the Biden Administration and Congressional Democrats rushed through trillions of dollars in spending and fueled the highest inflation in more than half a century.

Here Black Veggie..

You love CNN

https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/26/economy/ ... index.html

New YorkCNN Business — Larry Summers is urging Washington to tap the brakes on stimulus — or risk unleashing a serious burst of inflation.“I think policy is rather overdoing it,” Summers said in recorded comments at a CoinDesk conference that were released Wednesday. “The sense of serenity and complacency being projected by the economic policymakers, that this is all something that can easily be managed, is misplaced.”

Well you say that - The Consumer Price Index, a measurement of the average change in prices for a commonly purchased basket of goods and services, dropped 0.1% from May, -
......guess we can all move along now, nothing to see here. (and Joe is doing a stellar job)?
......are you kidding me? :faint:
"only retail gasoline prices"  .......it's almost like you're in your own little world, if you could only add just a glimmer of respectability to this debacle. In reality, you can't clean this up.   As "only retail gasoline prices" will effect the yield of many other goods and services, and unfortunately, as you well know, in this case negatively.
