In my opinion, Baldwin was not just an actor on the set.  He was also the producer of the movie, and I believe the responsibility was at least partially his!
Doesn't setting up the props for a scene fall under the purview of the producer?
But Hollywood always seems to be within a protected class of the liberal elite.

I simply don't think this was a good case to prosecute.

It wasn't prop gun.  It was a real gun that was supposed to loaded with dummy rounds.

Here is the scenario.  IN the real world I hand you a real gun, tell you it is not loaded,  and you do not check it.  You point the gun at someone, pull the trigger, and it fires YOU are going jail.

The family of the women he shot should get a gun and kill Baldwin.

But most film productions hire experts for explosives, guns etc etc...

He also said he did not pull the trigger.  Here is the problem.  Since about 1915 most revolvers have a hammer block which prevents a revolver from firing without squeezing the trigger.  Simply pulling the hammer back will not allow it to fire.

Old Fashion revolvers will fire because they don't a hammer block.  BUT, in order to make if fire you have to pull the hammer back and release it.  That is why back in the day many carried the weapon with the chamber that was under the hammer empty.

So I want to know did the gun have a Hamer Block or not.  If it did, he pulled the trigger.  If it didn't, he dropped the hammer.
