You say you live in a fancy gated community, so it seems to me that you might just be a tad melodramatic by saying we have endured a colossal failure.   If you had once had a fancy home and now lived in a homeless shelter, you might have some standing to whine.  As it is, it seems like you've done alright under the Biden administration.
